Rise to Root
We are so attuned with rooting to rise, grounding to expand and striving ever upwards. In this 3-hour wellbeing mini-retreat, we will do the opposite. Beginning with an expansive, dynamic, challenging flow, we will rise by tapping into the fire element, the yang energy that you may be used to over the summer. Transitioning from this into a rooting, grounding yoga flow to cool the body down, preparing the body to calibrate, with the hopes you will feel the strength and support of this sacred practice.
Transitioning between these energies reflects the dance of the seasons in nature, whilst one season draws to a close, we offer this mini-retreat as a way of honouring your needs, and the call for marking the switch from rising headspace to grounding in the body.
A nourishing Yoga Nidra will be offered as a way of sealing in the nutrients of our asana (movement) practice, a guided visualisation, body scan and centring practice that promotes deep rest and relaxation.
A sound bath will beautifully close out the mini-retreat, offering a space to listen to not just the sounds in the room, but to our inner compass, our call for self-care. That deep resonance, connection and comforting bath of sound will echo into the rest of your Sunday evening.
