Rise Every Day

Red January’s rebrand to Rise Every Day has been everything I needed to start this year with more intentional daily movement. I typically (you guessed it) move every day, so reframing January as a continuation of my lifestyle and not this huge overhall of my life and routine has been such a refreshing way to begin a New Year.

It has made the start of 2025 that little brighter, when the lack of daylight hours hits a little stronger, getting to my new fave F45 before the sun comes up means I get my movement done early, before the sun wakes up and before I think of an excuse not to go. On days the sun does show, it’s a run in my favourite parks (Richmond, Marble Hill and Bushy) and always daily yoga to recover, rejuvenate and replenish my mind and body.

The idea of rising every day in January, no matter what that looks like, has given me a whole new appreciation for a body that carries me through every mile, flow, lap or circuit. I’m starting the New Year with all the endorphins, gratitude for the ability to move, breathe and connect.

So tomorrow is the last day of Red January, with a swim on the cards for me, I’ll be continuing to Rise Every Day for the forseeable, I can’t imagine another way!
