Starting before you’re ready

Phew. If I waited to be ‘ready’ I would have never booked my 200hr YTT, my YSS course, built a yoga retreat business or taken on new teaching opportunities. Because ‘ready’ isn’t quantifiable, reachable or tangible.

So diving deep, big girl pants on, trusting that what awaits will be what is meant to be. Challenging myself in some areas makes me braver in other areas, and stepping into a place of surrender whilst simultaneously charging ahead is a RIDE.

I wish I’d been braver years ago - teaching yoga and connecting to people is such a privilege - but sending love to that past self who was figuring her way through, using asana as an anchor and pranayama before she knew what it *meant* to connect on a different level, to work through emotions, life’s twists and turns.

Gratitude in this moment, sipping chai and planning classes, embracing the creative side, the curious side and, above all, the call to share this sacred practice with others.
